Portrait Collective - February

Welcome to The Portrait Collective! We are excited for this inaugural post, and to share the result of our first months efforts. The Portrait Collective is a collaboration of photographers from across Canada, The United States, and Australia, all sharing the same passion for artistic growth, inspiration and creating soulful photographs. Our desire with this project, and focusing on the classic "portrait", is to challenge and inspire each other to dig deeper as artists. Placing the emphasis on establishing a connection with our subjects, and allowing the setting to be an afterthought, we hope to produce compelling images that have palpable soul.
