My home in the Pacific Northwest has fostered in me a love of low light and rich shadows.
The study of natural light photography has taught me to pay attention to how light, like childhood, is both transient and constant.
Photography has taught me a visual language that I use to compose rectangular love notes to my children. Through my camera I strive to see them as who they are and who they are becoming.
