Although I have a BFA in Theatre Performance and a minor in psychology, I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember.

I believe in the power of visual storytelling, & how it can be especially healing in birth and the postpartum period.

As a birthworker, I believe strongly that peace begins at birth & use photography as a tool to empower women and help them process their birth experience & beyond.

I love photographing the beauty in the simple things, the moments in between the moments, the beauty in the breakdown and the chaos.

When I'm not not knee-deep in editing, I can usually be found reading, snuggling with my pups, basking in nature, drinking a latte at a café, enjoying an Old Fashioned, listening to music, meditating, tending to my (giant) plant collection, or making more pictures.
